We have to step it up to save our country and constitution from the evil that would destroy it.

You quoted a Mormon. Are you Mormon?

Yes, I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Even though these quotes are from decades ago, I’m amazed at how relevant they are for our day.

I am decidedly NOT a Mormon. I will follow your posts, but if I see stuff advocating Mormon-ism, I will be bouncing back out. I think you know why.

I’m sorry you feel that way, but that is your prerogative.

The name of our church is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. You are behaving like a bully. Your response basically comes across as a threat. Do you really expect Erin to leave her faith and religion out of her posts just for you? You have agency to choose to unfollow and/or unsubscribe. Just remember this is not an airport. No need to announce your departure.

I think you need to go back and actually read my statements. You just inserted a lot of knee jerk emotionalism into what I said. Your snide comments are out of line

I NEVER said nor do I advocate her to make any other posts than what she feels led to do. My reaction is NOT a threat but an honest statement that I do not intend to be in a place where I am indoctrinated. Why would you even make a statement like me expecting her to leave her faith? Did I say that? Did I infer it? No I did not. So from start to finish, if anyone here is off balance, it is you

Where is the “indoctrination” in my article? I shared two quotes. I’m not pushing my religion or faith on you. You don’t have to agree with my faith. You don’t have to read my articles or posts. But you did give an ultimatum: if I continued to “advocate Mormon-ism” you’d bounce. Okay. If that is what you choose to do, then that’s your right. I’m not ashamed of my beliefs. I’m not going to stop sharing or talking about those beliefs just to appease someone else. This article is about the secret combinations tearing our country and the world apart, and how we should be exposing them and stopping them. That is all. If you choose to read it as “indoctrination” that is your problem. You are trying to make me walk back my words; I refuse to. I can respect your decision to denounce and disagree with my beliefs, but I must demand the same respect to share them. Freedom of religion and freedom of speech and expression, as well as it being a God-given right, grants me the liberty to write what I choose even when it includes my faith. Please do not turn this into a bash session on my personal beliefs or the church I choose to belong to. You are more than welcome to move along, I won’t stop you. Nor will I lose any sleep over your decision.

I never said I was going to confront or argue anything. I never said I intendvto be a pain in the butt, nor to fight. Nor did I infer you don't have the right to express you views or write your articles as you see fit. Let me put it another way: if you found yourself in a group, or website or substack that was say: 5 point Calvinist, super orthadox, ultra conservative, Baptist, taught doctrines you simply did not believe, yet while you could agree on several articles that did not touch on your doctrinal differences, yet you more and more saw articles that you simply could not subscribe too, did not believe, would you not eventually reach a point you could no longer stay? Would you not "bounce out" eventually? And would you not do so in a way that is not like "being an airport and announcing your departure" like some else here just fired at me. What did I say, that was any different than a course of action you would do (and probably did at some point unless raised in a Mormon home), if faced with a similar situation.

I neither threatened, nor demanded nor insisted you moderate anything. You ate free to run your articles as you see fit and I don't feel any need to fight with you or anyone else. I was just being honest that if this will primarily be a Mormon doctrine site, eventually I will bow out.

And you would do the same were the situation reversed

Bravo, Erin! You’ve laid it all out there like a declaration for re-independence, a no holds barred, clear-cut naming of what it is and what we have to do.

Thanks, James. When we see these things for what they really are, it makes so much sense. Time to strip it all down to the bone and get to work.

I merely asked you if you were Mormon! I did not question nor attack the quotes

And then I responded with a simple statement affirming that I was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. You made a point of focusing solely on my religion and the quotes I used rather than the point of the article. I’m sorry if that was all you could see, but that’s one you.

Agreed. We have to stay vigilant, and be prepared to act so we don’t backslide any further than we’ve done.
